It’s here! It’s here! The Carnival that is…!

The 96^th Annual Gold Discovery Days Celebration starts THIS WEEKEND!  The whole community comes together and works hard to make sure this event is the best and biggest of the year.  The carnival is already in town setting up so they’ll be ready for everyone on Thursday night.  The lines have been marked for the Car Show on Saturday.  The Bed Race beds have new wheels.  The volleyball courts have been prepped by the City crew with new sand (and no water!).  The parade lineup is in the works and the royalty have been practicing their waves.  The stick horses have been corralled and the prizes for the gold nugget hunt have been bagged.  And maybe most importantly, the signs have been placed throughout town letting everyone know to be ready this FRIDAY, SATURDAY, and SUNDAY!  (and technically Thursday for the Carnival!)
